VCDS aanpassingen specifiek voor de Volkswagen T-Roc  chassiscode [A1]
Bouwjaar voorjaar 2017 t/m heden.      Let op het verschil tussen modeljaar en bouwjaar.

Reken je niet te vroeg rijk. De mogelijkheid moet wel aanwezig zijn in de regelmodule die in jouw auto zit.
Let op:  niet alle mogelijkheden zijn in elk land wettelijk toegestaan.
Let op:  voor de betreffende Regelmodule moet de juiste Labelfile aanwezig zijn.

Doe jezelf  (en Ross-Tech en Priemus en rCs en mij)  een plezier en lees dit even.
Het kan veel tijd en ergernis voorkomen, omdat er vaak vergissingen worden gemaakt bij dit soort aanpassingen.

Dagrijverlichting (LED), achterlichten activeren

Dagrijverlichting aan én achterlichten aan is wél toegestaan in Nederland.
Zie RVV §15, artikel 41.1: "Onverminderd artikel 32, eerste lid, mogen bestuurders van een motorvoertuig bij dag dagrijlicht voeren. Het dagrijlicht wordt niet tegelijk met enig ander licht aan de voorzijde van het voertuig gevoerd.

Green Engineering Menu
  1. When activating these menus we will see them in the Infotainment screen and we will see that they appear very delicate options and have some risk to modify them without knowing what is done. There is also a lot of interesting information to study.
  2. Go to Module 5F (Information Electronics)
  3. Click on Change Service. Put in Development Mode. And return to Module 5F.
  4. Click on Adaptation
  5. Search Development Mode. Switch to On .
  6. Press the Validate button
  7. Restart the Infotainment by pressing and holding the power button between 10s to 15s and release.
  8. To enter the Green Menu, press and hold the Menu button on the right of the screen until you enter the Service Menu. Click on Testmode and Green Engineering Menu.

Light Assist and option in the menu
NB.: for T-Roc with LED package
  1. Go to Module 09 (Electronic switchboard)
  2. Click on Adaptation
  3. Search Fernlicht_assistent
  4. Enter Erweiterte_Fernlichtsteuerung . Switch to AFS, FLA, Fernlicht ueber AFS.
  5. Enter Menuesteuerung Fernlichtassistent. Switch to Available.
  6. Press the Validate button. The code is 31347.
  7. lr to Module A5 (front sensors)
  8. Click on Extended coding
  9. Press the button on the top right that shows '0' and '1' to see it Bytes mode; Each Byte has 8 bits (from 0 to 7 included)
  10. Press the right arrow until you reach Byte 21
  11. Within Byte 21 activate bit 5-7 and do not modify the others. (Read note below)
  12. Press the Validate button
  13. The modification should work.
    Note: In step 11 the bit appears like "5-7" and it is only one box, you do not have to modify the others only that one.
    For halogen lights the modification may be different, it is not tested.
    It only works when we have the light control in the 'Auto' position.
    It will remain as it was left when the contact is removed.
  14. Additional modification:  If we want the contact to be deactivated, we must include the next step between point 5 and 6, we include. Enter Fernlichtassistent reset. Switch to Active.
    How it works: Activated with the light lever. The light assistant works through the camera and front light sensor and switches between long or short light automatically depending on the lighting conditions of the road and if there is traffic in front. Without the modification when we want to put the long light we must push the lever forward and to turn off the long light we pull the lever towards us. After the modification when we push once activates the Light Assist and the corresponding icon appears in the instrument panel, and when we push a second time the permanent long light is activated, but if we push a third we activate the Light Assist again and successively it will be switching between the two modes.
  15. So to deactivate it? There are two options, one is to push the light lever once to exit the Light Assist and activate the permanent long light and then pull the lever towards us and at that moment the long light will also be deactivated, returning to normal. The other option is to deactivate the new option that appears in the lighting settings from the menu.

  13. Press the Validate button
  14. Exit Adaptation, Return to Module 5F and click on Extended Coding .
  15. (This step is only for those who do not have a GPS system, if you have a GPS you can go to the next step). Without changing to the bytes mode, look for the byte_24_Navigation_System . Switch to On .
  16. Press the Validate button
  17. Restart the Infotainment by pressing and holding the power button between 10s to 15s and release.
  18. Important note: For those of us who do not have a navigator, the compass will not work because we do not have the GPS module, and when you do a bug scan with Obdeleven or any other cable you will always see a fault saying that the module is badly coded, it will even appear in the service official. This is a consequence of the modification of step 13 that is necessary to indicate (cheat) you as if we have a browser when we do not really have it. That this failure appears has no other consequences or causes malfunction or problems of any kind.

  24. It should work already. In the settings of the driving assistants, the option 'Signal recognition' should appear and the speed signals appear in the frame.
  25. Note: This extra is associated with the GPS, so those without a GPS will see a message on the infotainment when entering to see ' the state of the car' which indicates that signal recognition is limited. This warning will also appear for a few seconds in the instrument cluster to start the march. This message is only informative and does not produce any problem, error or failure. The recognition of signals will work normally but limited without the information that the navigator could provide.
